My Life Coaching Philosophy

My dream is to create a cosy, joyful space where you can slow down for a moment, read something light to brighten up your day.
You will find articles on health, well‑being, and work‑life balance. Easy reads to go with your morning or afternoon coffee.

Midlife Crisis or New Beginning?

Midlife crisis is a psychological turning point that can affect many areas of our lives: our work, appearance, health, life goals and often several of these at the same time.

Today it is difficult to define which age group is most effected. While it used to be associated with people between 40 and 50, it has now become a broader transition that can occur at almost any stage in our lives caused by a variety of life situations.

Exercise Snack in the Office

Do you know what an exercise snack is?

It sounds a bit funny, is it exercise or is it a snack? :) It’s actually both! A tiny bite‑sized burst of movement that’s great for your heath, and makes you feel good, and it can be great fun too.

The idea is to interrupt long periods of sitting with some every-day movement. Climbing the stairs, moving boxes, tidying your cabinet, walking around the buidling, grabbing a coffee from a nearby café (walking there and back, and climbing the stairs) or any brief activity that gets you moving.

The Four Pillars of Life

Food, movement, social connections and a purposeful life. These are the foundations that bring us forward, refill our energy reservers, and help us navigate challenges.

The great news is if we start improving one pillar, the rest will automatically rise with it. What does it look like in real life?

Mini vacation ideas after work

Tomatoes, basil, olives, feta and a glass of wine. A simple dinner can feel like a warm evening on the coast.

Ice cream or iced coffee in the office can make it so much easier to get through the working day.

We spend most of the summer working, secretly (or not so secretly) looking forward to our vacation, or already back from it, planning our next one. Do you really need to wait a whole year to relax in the sun again? Definitely not.

Lost in Legoland

Have you ever wondered whether as grown‑ups, we still get to play? To lose ourselves in something simple, feel that lovely flow, and just… be happy for a moment?

What it feels like to touch a LEGO brick or a puzzle piece? When you are not running after your kid, pretty angry, clearing the living room from tiny plastic landmines. No, not like that, but as you, yourself, who actually sits down to create?

When you run your fingers through a box of colourful pieces, wooden blocks, or puzzles, sorting, imagining, dreaming up what might come to life under your fingers?

Help! I am Exhausted!

Landmarks, restaurants, cultural programs. Do I need all that for a vacation? What would make me happy right now? These are questions worth asking when you are planning your vacation. Sometimes we create such a busy agenda for our vacations, that it beats our work schedules. You don’t have to see every landmark, try all restaurants, and walk every trail just to tick the boxes.

Often the best choice is simply the one that makes you happy and meets your needs right now.

Vacation Diet

Many of us are worried about what to eat on vacation to avoid unnecessary weight gain or undo the progress of all the hard work put into your fitness plan in the past few months.

The good news is, that a happy person is always healtier than a stressful and overly disciplined one.

The stress of eating the wrong food is a lot more harmful than eating something not perfectly fitting your usual diet.

Vacation time and You are stuck in the office...

It can feel pretty miserable… the empty desks, the silence, but the emails still keep coming. There’s a simple way to make this time a lot more enjoyable:

Start planning your next vacation!

The mind cannot distinguish between something real and something imagined. So let it go wild!
